Upcoming opportunities to see Gillian's artworks
See my work on Herring Island in January (2012) and then I hope to show with the ASV at the Melbourne Flower and Garden Show (MFGS) and the Toorak Village exhibition for which I am in the process of making a bronze.
NEWS FLASH!
My work "Caressed by the Breeze" will feature at
'Sculpture on the Stream'
an exhibition presented by the Association of Sculptors of Victoria [ASV]
opening 12-2pm on 14 January.
The exhibition is open from 11:30am to 4:45 pm each Saturday and Sunday
Cr. John Chandler, newly elected Mayor of Stonnington will open the sculpture exhibition and launch the 2012 Herring Island Summer Arts Festival on Saturday 14th January at 12noon.
An exhibition of smaller sculpture reflective of the Stream - the sculptors' life.
Demonstration events will occur during the show, and the exhibition will be “sat” by the exhibiting artists – so this will be a great time to see their latest work and talk to them about their inspiration.
After the exhibition closes, images of the works will be on the ASV web site in the exhibitions section. NOTE: The gallery will close at 4:00pm on Sunday 29th January so please come early on our last day.

Mansfield Easter Show

MANSFIELD EASTER SHOW
MASONIC HALL. HIGHETT STREET .MANSFIELD VICTORIA April to 11th April 2010.
Without Pier Gallery is holding an exhibition in Mansfield Victoria over the Easter Period. Last year it was just for the holiday weekend but this year it has been extended to 10 days. This is a busy tourist time for Mansfield as it is on direct route to My Buller and the High Country. Thousands of people visit the very busy Market in the main street outside the gallery over the holiday weekend. I have been fortunate to be accepted and I am entering 4 paintings of the high country around Mt Buller 2 large and 2 small.
